[Wizard Wisdom] Why DISC behaviors NEEDS motivators…

As the DISC Wizard, of course, I think DISC is an amazing tool. (It’d be pretty sad if I didn’t.)

But even I have to admit that DISC has its limitations. That’s why I always combine the 4 DISC Behaviors model with a 6 Motivators model.

When you combine the 4 DISC Behaviors & 6 Motivators, we get 24 unique combinations.

No wonder when trying to reward employees with one method, we often miss the mark.

After assessing and identifying team members on this chart, you could potentially:

1) Determine if they are in the right role
2) Create incentives that would be more rewarding to them personally
3) Recognize them in a way that works for them.
